Lodging costs in Ireland, like most countries, can greatly depend upon where you are staying. Bigger, more touristy cities tend to be more expensive while staying outside city limits or in the country tends to be cheaper.

Transportation
Traveling by car is the superior method of traveling around Ireland. Some of the most scenic roads can be found here, and many of the historical sites and cities can only be accessed by roads.

– Rideshares like Uber and Lyft tend to be slightly more expensive here than in most other countries.
– Ubers in Ireland technically are just taxi’s, as Ireland has outlawed Uber from hiring out private cars and instead limits them to using licensed taxi/limo drivers.

Public Transportation: (€18 a day)
– Public transportation is not too useful unless you are in a bigger city, but if you are in a bigger city, it is definitely the way to go!

Gas Vehicles: (Average Cost of gas: €1.6 a liter or €6.05 a gallon)
– The cost of gas varies greatly throughout the country, but the main theme is that being right next to the interstate/highway and being in a bigger city will lead to higher prices.
